Please note that we are attempting to follow the, sometimes confusing, government guidelines. Thanks for your understanding. Because it is difficult to anticipate the future I am suggesting you pay in monthly increments. ($9.16 per lesson per student)
We currently have 10 registrations. We need 20 to meet our obligations. Please read the posts below to see what policies we have set out so for. Thanks!

Hello Everyone
In the event that anyone has any concerns, rest assured we'll be following the AHS guidelines that are relevant. However, at this time, there aren't many available.
At this time there is no restrictions on instruments. There is on singing, but I'm the only one who has to worry about that one. This is the list of restricted and unrestricted activities at this time. This is the most recent research that I have found regarding Wind Instruments. Dr. Hinshaw allowed wind instruments back in July. In May, the Bamburg Symphony Orchestra tested wind instruments with artificial fog. The article is in German, so I'll give you a translation here. Note, they recommend three metres distance. we will strive for this, but this is a professional orchestra. They use a lot more wind than our larger groups do. I hope to have put any concerns at ease, but, if any come up, please let us know. Because we're not in the full band mode yet, e-mail is the best. Harold We are pleased to announce that we will be starting up on September 8. Thank you all for your patience while we navigate the difficult waters this year. Costs and format will remain the same with the following policy in place.
1. The playroom will not be open. 2. The 2 large rooms adjoining the hall will be available for families as usual. 3. Because the church is considered a public building, masks will be required for parents and siblings in the classrooms. All must don masks before entering the building 4. Band will be in the large room with appropriate distancing measures. 5. We will need to clean tables, and music stands between classes so we may need some assistance with that or shorten the classes by 5 minutes to accommodate that. 6. We “may” require families to separate themselves at different tables in the adjoining rooms but with masks that may not be necessary. I trust you will use your own good judgment and respect the concerns of others. Harold teaches at other studios and he will decide how best to teach. He'll update you in the next few weeks. We are looking forward to making music together again! |
