In Band we often refer to the new language you have been learning. Music is a complex language that combined musical symbols and written terms that all must be applied to the playing of your specific instrument. Even if you already know how to read music (Piano or guitar) you have learned the fingerings, embouchure and mechanics for your new instrument. You have practiced finger patterns, articulations, dynamics and even musical expression.
Name 5 musical terms (and what they mean) that you have learned in band class.
